We are now looking for a traveling fitter/welding fitter for Sveba Dahlen in Fristad – one of the world's leading manufacturers of professional bakery and pizza equipment.

About the Role

This is a true traveling position for those who enjoy being out on assignments and working in varied environments. As a traveling welding fitter, you will work both in production and out at customer sites with the installation, assembly, and adaptation of Sveba Dahlen's equipment and facilities.

Travel is a natural and important part of the role. Assignments can vary from about 3 days up to 4 weeks at a time, both within Sweden and internationally. Therefore, we are looking for someone who appreciates a mobile job and has the opportunity to travel frequently in the role.

You will gradually receive training in the company's products and technical solutions, including training to develop within the role and become a specialist in the company's equipment and installations.

When you are not on traveling assignments, you work with assembly, welding, and manufacturing in the company's production.

Responsibilities

• MIG and TIG welding
• Mechanical assembly and final assembly
• Reading drawings and quality control
• Installation and assembly at customer sites
• Traveling service and installation assignments
• Troubleshooting and practical problem-solving
• Collaboration with colleagues in production and projects

The position is based during daytime hours, but travel and overnight stays are a natural part of the work.

We are looking for you who

• Have a workshop technical education or equivalent experience
• Have experience with welding and industrial assembly
• Are accustomed to reading and working according to technical drawings
• Enjoy practical and physical work
• Have a solution-oriented and self-initiating work approach
• Are flexible and appreciate variation in work
• Enjoy traveling and working in different locations for extended periods
• Have good teamwork skills and a positive attitude
• Communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)

Other Information

This is a temporary-to-permanent position with a good opportunity for direct employment with the client company after the rental period. The position is located in Fristad.
