The residential facilities within social psychiatry are part of the Functional Support area within the Welfare Administration. Within this unit, decisions are implemented in accordance with both the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments (LSS).

We are now looking for three committed and goal-oriented support assistants for the residential facilities Solsidan and Fyran, where working hours are scheduled for day, evening, weekend, and sleeping on-call duty. The positions are as follows:

1. Permanent position at 100% with start date 1/9-26 at Fyran
2. Fixed-term position at 100% with start date 1/9-26 to 31/10-27 at Solsidan
3. Fixed-term position at 100% with start date 1/9-26 to 28/2-27 at Fyran

Job Responsibilities

You are responsible for creating and following up on implementation plans, other social documentation, and other administrative tasks/areas of responsibility together with the user, such as schedules, purchase orders, health, and safety.

Together with your colleagues, you will perform day-to-day and planned support interventions and activities together with the user, as well as support and motivate in daily activities at home and during leisure time. This includes building trusting relationships with the users and being a good role model.

You will ensure that support interventions are based on the user's individual needs, promote independence and participation, and are carried out with respect for the user's integrity and self-determination. You will help with daily chores and activities, personal hygiene, and medication, among other things.

You will drive development work forward together with colleagues according to established goals, methods, quality requirements, and other guidelines. Collaborating with the user's network, other staff, and other partners is also an important part of the work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a high school diploma in either the Care and Nursing program with specialization in the program focus on functional impairment or psychiatry, the Child and Leisure program with a focus on social work or pedagogical work, or other equivalent education assessed by the employer as equivalent.

To work in care and nursing, you must be at least 18 years old. It is important that you have the ability to meet people professionally based on their individual conditions and needs. As a person, you are self-reliant and stress-resistant with the individual in focus. You are empathetic and responsible, and you have an easy time collaborating with others. You have good social skills and enjoy working in a flexible manner. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A Category B driver's license is required for the position.

Sufficient knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required for the work to, among other things, communicate with users, perform care documentation, and obtain medication delegation.

Before any potential employment, extracts from the criminal record for work with the elderly and adults with functional impairments must be presented to the employer.
