Your Role

We are now looking for an experienced Systems Electronics Engineer with a focus on integration, verification, and commissioning of advanced technical systems. The role combines technical depth with a holistic perspective and involves close collaboration with both internal development teams and external customers.

You work through the entire system lifecycle – from requirements analysis and system design to integration, verification, installation, and commissioning at the customer site. The role also includes conducting technical investigations and participating in customer meetings and international deliveries.

As part of a cross-functional team, you are responsible for ensuring that system solutions meet both technical requirements and the customers' operational needs. The role involves a broad network of contacts and may include travel both within Sweden and internationally.

Your Profile

You have experience with technically advanced systems and thrive at the interface between development, verification, and the customer. You have a holistic perspective and appreciate following the product from development to installation and commissioning. The role involves close collaboration with customers and users, both nationally and internationally, which demands good communication skills and a willingness to travel.

You can turn ideas into robust and reliable solutions that meet high demands. You are a civil or master's engineer with a focus on electronics design or equivalent, and have several years of experience in electronics production or system development.

The Electronics Section is part of the Electronics Department and consists of over 190 employees who work through the entire development chain – from technology and product studies to finished product and product care.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the security clearance regulations in effect at any given time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
