The Care and Social Services Department is responsible for the municipality's elderly and disability care, home healthcare, and catering services. The department employs over 1,000 staff members. The largest group consists of care personnel such as nursing assistants, personal assistants, nurses, and cooks. However, there are also many other professions within our operations. The Workplace

Berguven and Blomstervägen, under the Social Services Act (SoL), are directed towards individuals within social psychiatry who need support in their daily lives. At the workplace, you work to provide support and services to our users. We have the user's needs at the center and adapt the work to a stimulating and meaningful daily life. Together with your colleagues, you plan and ensure, through implementation plans, documentation, and routines, that the support is adapted to the user's needs and wishes. To succeed, you will have the opportunity for continuous competence development and a structured introduction. We work according to a clarifying pedagogy that is based on making the world as clear and predictable as possible.

Job Responsibilities

The work is carried out based on the intentions of the Social Services Act (SoL) regarding participation, self-determination, integrity, and continuity for the users in the operation. You work in a structured, goal-oriented, and solution-focused manner based on each user's individual needs. You document interventions and serve as the contact person for the user. Since communication and documentation are important work tools in our operation, it is a requirement that you express yourself well both verbally and in writing.

Work at other workplaces within the department may occur.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Nursing program with a focus on Social Psychiatry or another pedagogical education that the employer deems equivalent.
  • You have good knowledge of social psychiatry, and we see that you also have knowledge of clarifying pedagogy as well as low-affective handling and approach.
  • A B-driver's license is required.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.

Merits:

  • Experience from previous work within social psychiatry.
  • Familiarity with the operation.
  • Worked with implementation plans in Combine.
  • Familiarity with SoL.

Personal qualities:

You are a stable person with the ability and experience of meeting and relating to persons with challenging behavior. You are a positive person who can work in a solution-focused manner. You should enjoy working both individually and in a group. You have good cooperation skills and a goal-oriented way of working.
