About the Role

We are now looking for a Transport Manager specializing in Special Transport for a business where every assignment involves new challenges and requires careful planning. The role suits you if you have experience from the transport industry and want to develop within a specialist area where technology, logistics, and problem-solving are in focus.

As a Transport Manager, you are responsible for planning and coordinating the transport of goods that place special demands on vehicles, permits, and execution. You work with everything from route planning and permit applications to vehicle selection, scheduling, and follow-up of ongoing transports.

An important part of the role is to ensure that transports are carried out according to current regulations and that the right conditions are in place before the transport begins. You will also work with transport calculations and price inquiries, as well as contribute to optimizing transport setups and resource utilization.

More concretely, the position includes:

• Planning and coordination of national and international special transports
• Application and handling of dispensations and transport permits
• Route planning based on weight, dimensions, axle pressure, and local regulations
• Dialogue with customers, haulage companies, authorities, and partners
• Follow-up of transports and handling of deviations
• Planning of return loads and optimization of transport flows
• Ensuring that driving and rest times as well as other transport requirements are complied with

About You

The following are requirements for the position:

• A few years of experience in transport management within road transport
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills and experience with administrative tasks

Merits:

• Experience with special transports or project transports
• Knowledge of vehicle combinations
• Experience with transport calculation or quotation work
• Background as a professional driver or other operational experience from the transport industry

Scope: Full-time

Working hours: Mon-Fri, 08:30-17:00

Salary: According to agreement
