💼 Responsibilities

As a Traffic Controller, you are responsible for the planning, booking, and follow-up of export transports for temperature-sensitive goods. You own your flows from start to finish and ensure that transports are carried out according to set requirements for quality, time, and profitability. The role is characterized by freedom under responsibility, where you are expected to drive your flows independently and take responsibility for the results. You work operationally in a high-paced environment, handling multiple parallel transports simultaneously and needing to prioritize and make quick decisions when conditions change. You work daily in close collaboration with customers, carriers, and internal functions. In addition to the operational responsibility, you also play an important role in developing cooperation with transporters through follow-up, dialogue, and improvement work.

You will among other things:

• Plan and book export transports of temperature-sensitive goods
• Ensure that the cold chain is maintained throughout the entire transport flow
• Have daily contact with customers, carriers, and international partners
• Follow up on deliveries and handle deviations and re-planning
• Prioritize and make quick decisions when conditions change
• Contribute to the follow-up and development of the carrier network and collaborations

🔍 Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Experience in operational traffic control, forwarding, or a similar coordinating role
• Good understanding of transport flows and planning
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English

Merits:

• Experience with temperature-controlled transports (Reefer/Frigo)
• Experience with export flows or international logistics
• Experience with supplier dialogue or carrier contacts
• Additional language skills, such as German, French, Polish, and/or Dutch

To thrive in this role, you take responsibility for your transports and drive your work forward on your own initiative. You are confident in making decisions in an operational daily routine where the pace is high and conditions can change quickly. You work in a structured manner and have the ability to prioritize when several transport flows are running in parallel. At the same time, you have a business-minded approach and understand how your decisions affect both cost, quality, and collaborations with transporters. The role also requires you to be communicative and team-oriented, as you have ongoing contact with both customers and carriers. You build relationships by being solution-oriented and following up on what you are responsible for.
