💼 Responsibilities

As a Junior Traffic Controller within import, you work operationally with planning and coordinating trailer traffic from Europe into Sweden. The role is closely linked to daily operations, where you track flows in real-time and adjust planning based on changes. The role means that you quickly become part of the operational routine, where you are expected to take responsibility for your tasks and gradually work more independently. You work at a high pace, handling several parallel shipments simultaneously, and need to prioritize and make decisions quickly when conditions change. You are responsible for ensuring bookings are made correctly, that shipments run according to plan, and that deviations are handled continuously. Contact with carriers and drivers is continuous, and you work in parallel across multiple systems. Over time, you will take responsibility for your own flows and relationships.

You will among other things:

• Plan and book import shipments (trailers) from Europe to Sweden
• Ensure that shipments depart, arrive, and are unloaded according to plan
• Have daily contact with carriers, drivers, and internal functions
• Follow up on deliveries and work proactively in case of deviations
• Handle rescheduling related to delays or changed volumes

🔍 Education, Experience, and Personal Traits

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Good computer skills and ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously

Merits:

• Post-secondary education in logistics, forwarding, or transport
• Experience from service, administration, or a coordinating role
• Understanding of road transport or international flows
