Are you a new student this autumn and want to combine your studies with a long-term part-time job? As a forklift driver/warehouse associate at the ICA warehouse in Helsingborg, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and become part of a fantastic team.

The work at the ICA warehouse primarily involves forklift driving and order picking using a voice-picking system that instructs you on which items to pick. The work is physically demanding and characterized by a high pace where you work in different temperature zones.

To thrive and be suitable for the role, you need to be flexible and able to work regularly alongside your studies. You must be able to work at least two weekdays (Monday–Thursday) as well as either Friday or Saturday every week. Since ICA's warehouse operations run 24/7, shifts may vary between day, evening, and sometimes night.

This role is ideal for those who want a stable part-time job during their studies and are willing to step in when needed. During periods of higher workload, such as summer and Christmas, we would appreciate it if you could work more shifts and, if necessary, up to full-time.

This is a consultancy assignment, meaning you will be employed by StudentConsulting but work as a consultant for our client, ICA.

As part of the recruitment process, you will complete two tests available via your profile when you register your application. The tests are named ICA Language Test and Work-related Behavior (ADEPT-15).

We are currently recruiting with an introduction period starting after the summer, as early as week 36. The introduction takes place over five working days (Monday–Friday) and requires 100% attendance. Therefore, it is a requirement that you are available full-time throughout the entire training period.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To be considered for the role, you must be studying at least 50% and have at least one year remaining in your studies. You must be able to work at least three full weekdays every week. We will only proceed with candidates who can provide documentation verifying this.

Additionally, you should have:

• Forklift license A1-4 (TLP2 or TLP10)
• Good physical fitness
• Clean criminal record (no convictions in the Swedish Enforcement Authority's register)
• Very good ability to understand and communicate in Swedish
• Valid ID (passport or national ID card) and right to work in Sweden
• Category B driver's license and access to your own car to commute quickly to the workplace in Långeberga

As a person, you are careful, flexible, and responsible. You have a strong work ethic and enjoy working both independently and with colleagues. In this role, you will work towards high goals and receive daily coaching for development. Therefore, it is important that you thrive in a fast-paced environment and strive to achieve good results in your work.

We will request a background check and conduct drug testing as part of the recruitment process. ICA aims to have smoke-free workplaces. The work environment at ICA should be sober and free from drugs, and therefore ICA conducts random alcohol and drug tests.
