We are now looking for an Instrument Technician with an interest in engine development, with a special focus on service, support, and preventive maintenance. The service function is a central part of the development and testing of engines in both the industrial and marine segments at Volvo Penta.

You will become part of an engaged service team responsible for service, support, calibration, and maintenance of measuring equipment in our test rooms. The role is varied and combines practical work with technical problem-solving.

As an Instrument Technician, you will work with tasks such as:

• Calibrating and troubleshooting instruments and equipment in test room environments
• Performing particle weighing
• Repairing and manufacturing wiring for prototype engines, instruments, and engine test cells
• Participating in and ensuring preventive maintenance measures
• Working proactively to create stable and reliable test environments

We are looking for you who have experience in instrument technology, calibration, and measurement technology. You have likely worked in a similar role previously and have education in electricity, instrumentation, or a corresponding technical field.
