The Dementia Team works, similar to home care services, in the user's own home but has extended knowledge in the field of dementia.

Job Responsibilities

People with dementia need to be treated in a way that makes them feel seen for the individual they still are. As a nursing assistant in the Dementia Team, you work to create security and meaning in the daily lives of our users.

You are a secure guide when memories fail, a support in anxious moments, and a source of joy when daily life needs brightening. Together with the team, you work with individualized interventions at home and contribute to increased quality of life for both users and relatives.

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant education
• Professional certificate
• Category B driver's license
• Experience working in eldercare and preferably in dementia care
• Good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish
• Sufficient IT skills for the task. All documentation is digital.

You are a person who sees the human behind the disease and has the ability to see and interpret the resources the person you meet possesses. You can create security and support the person to maintain activities for a meaningful daily life.
