Job Description A public sector organization is looking for a senior project manager who can support structuring, planning, and executing a large-scale staff relocation. The assignment includes, among other things, work involving knowledge of floor plans and the placement of a large number of employees.

The consultant must be communicative, self-reliant, and have a good ability to drive the work forward in close dialogue with relevant stakeholders. Experience in coordinating similar assignments and a good understanding of the processes related to large office relocations are considered very meritorious. Furthermore, the consultant should be accustomed to working with risk assessments and be able to plan, lead, and participate in the meetings and check-ins required before, during, and after the move to ensure a smooth and efficient implementation. The consultant must also have an understanding of the organization's security requirements and be able to take these into account in the work.

The assignment covers several moves for approximately 1,000 people and is carried out within a larger internal support function.

Qualifications (Must-haves)

• At least 9 years of experience in project management.
• Experience working in projects within the public sector or other comparable operations.
• Documented experience with assignments related to large office or staff relocations.
• Documented experience working with risk assessments.

Desirable Competencies (Nice-to-haves)

• Experience working in security-classified operations.
• Experience from large authorities or other regulated operations.
• Experience working in the public sector.

Role Description

A project manager leads and is responsible for a time- and scope-bound assignment. The work includes, among other things, developing project goals and schedules, staffing planning, operational leadership of the assignment participants, follow-up and reporting, distribution and prioritization of resources and work, as well as dialogue and coordination with the client, users, and other stakeholders. The role often requires knowledge of different project governance models.

Start Date: approximately September 1, 2026

Duration: up to approximately August 31, 2028
