Malmö Opera is the heart and voice of music drama in Scania. The house opened in 1944 and is centrally located in the Øresund Region, just 20 minutes from Copenhagen. The stage is one of the largest in Europe, and the amphitheater-style auditorium seats 1,500 visitors. We perform classic, modern, and newly commissioned music dramas. Malmö Opera has just over 285 permanent staff and 500–700 cast members per season. During one season, we produce just over 300 performances for the main stage as well as for children's, youth, and touring activities.

We are now looking for a dishwasher for casual hourly employment at Operagrillen.

Job Description

As a dishwasher, you will work within the Food & Beverage department, which is responsible for the public-facing parts of the operation, including the Operagrillen restaurant, foyer service, and staff cafeteria.

The work primarily involves handling fine and bulk dishwashing, as well as ensuring that dish handling is carried out in a safe, hygienic, and efficient manner. The role also includes other common kitchen tasks.

The position reports to the Head Chef.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience working as a dishwasher or in similar roles within restaurant or large-scale kitchen operations.

Employment Terms

The employment is a casual hourly position. Working hours vary based on operational needs, and work may take place during the day, in the evening, and on weekends.
