Job Responsibilities

The Cost Unit of Örkelljunga Municipality is looking for a cook with a placement in the kitchen at the nursing home Södergården. The work involves performing all common tasks in a central kitchen. Meals are prepared in the kitchen for elderly care, people with disabilities, school and preschool children, as well as for meal distribution.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a cook's education. We would appreciate it if you have previous experience in cooking in restaurants or large kitchens, as well as experience with adapted diets for the elderly and children. Good insight into kitchen economics, hygiene, and how the production chain is ensured is of great importance.

Great emphasis is placed on service and customer interaction, as well as the ability to collaborate with everyone in the work group to achieve common goals. It is important that you are stress-resistant, as there is sometimes a high pace in the operations. You must master Swedish in speech and writing, understand written instructions, and have good IT skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
