TORE is a service store located at Chalmers Campus Johanneberg and serves as the concept for future stores on campus. We offer a wide range of products, from course literature and office supplies to souvenirs, candy, and food. Our fresh store is located in the award-winning Chalmers Kårhus, and we also have a rapidly growing online shop and a branch at Campus Lindholmen. Our roots go back to 1926 when we started with book sales, and we currently have an annual turnover of approximately 18 million SEK. The company is part of AB Chalmers Studentkårs Företagsgrupp and operates under Chalmers Konferens & restauranger.

Store Employee

STORE currently has a stable and profitable operation with dedicated staff. We are now looking for a new employee for our campus store, STORE, for the autumn term 2026. Our ambition is to be an attractive campus store – the first choice for Chalmers students, employees, and guests.

Job Description

As an employee at STORE, your tasks will include cash register duties, unpacking goods, sales, and managing the daily operations of the store.

Café and restaurant work may also occur, as we view ourselves as a team and support other units when needed. Work during evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

You gain energy from working with people and you energize others when you are around them. You understand that you are part of a whole and are therefore extremely important to your colleagues and our guests.

As a person, you are positive, flexible, and stress-resistant. You have good teamwork skills and enjoy working both independently and in teams towards common goals.

You understand the importance of providing good service and always keeping the customer in focus. We would appreciate experience from the service industry or similar. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as the role involves daily contact with guests.
