As a vehicle technician at Södra Cell Mönsterås, you will become an important part of an engaged team responsible for ensuring our vehicles operate safely and efficiently in daily operations.

In this role, you will work with the maintenance of various vehicle types across the entire complex in Mönsterås. Tasks vary between planned preventive maintenance and urgent corrective actions, making the days both varied and developmental. You will apply your technical skills in practice while contributing to high operational availability.

You will also be involved in investments in new vehicles, where you will have the opportunity to influence future working methods and working conditions. Looking ahead, the operations are facing exciting developments towards more electrically driven vehicles, making this role particularly interesting for those who want to be part of this journey.

You will join a team of seven vehicle technicians working in two shifts, Monday to Friday. The group is characterized by camaraderie, engagement, and a willingness to help each other – with an present and supportive manager who enjoys seeing people develop in their roles.

In short, you will:

• work with both preventive and urgent maintenance

• be involved in the development and investment of new vehicles

• contribute to an operation moving towards greater electrification

The position is a permanent, full-time role with shift work on-site in Mönsterås.

We are looking for you who have a vehicle technical education or equivalent experience working with vehicles, preferably with a focus on heavy vehicles. You have a driver's license, good knowledge of Swedish, and are comfortable with basic computer use, as some troubleshooting is done digitally.

We believe you thrive working both independently and together with others. You are solution-oriented, positive, and have a strong safety mindset in your work.

At Södra, attitude, collaboration, and the desire to develop are at least as important as your previous experience.

It is an extra advantage if you have:

• experience with vehicle maintenance

• certifications such as Hot Work, Fall Protection, or Crane/Traverse operation

• experience with forklifts, wheel loaders, or similar equipment
