Tasks and Responsibilities

Siemens Energy is now looking for two System Engineers for its Customer Order Engineering team in Finspång.

About the Role

As a System Engineer, you will become an important part of the Mechanical Installation Office within Customer Order Engineering. The team is responsible for interface piping systems and installation materials between the gas turbine core engines and the various auxiliary systems, both during workshop assembly and installation at the customer's site.

The department is also responsible for construction-related components such as:

• Base plates for gas turbines and generators
• Lifting tools for gas turbine units
• Service equipment for unrolling gas turbine cores
• Service platforms and other structural solutions

Your Tasks

In the role of System Engineer, you are responsible for adapting standardized design solutions to customer-specific projects. You work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions meet customer requirements, quality standards, and regional regulations.

You will, among other things:

• Act as the technical responsible engineer in customer order projects
• Develop customer-specific solutions based on standard designs
• Ensure that technical requirements, quality requirements, and local regulations are met
• Coordinate and prioritize activities within your area of responsibility
• Collaborate with various technical disciplines and project functions
• Contribute technical leadership within the team's areas of responsibility

Your Profile

We are looking for you who have:

• Broad technical understanding and a strong interest in technology
• Experience in design and development within large industrial gas turbines
• Relevant education
• Very good knowledge of 3D-CAD, Teamcenter, and NX
• Good ability to communicate, coordinate, and prioritize
• Experience leading technical activities and driving issues forward
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing
