About the role
We are now looking for an engaged and service-oriented Property Technician who wants to become part of our team in Spånga. In the role of Property Technician, you have independent and continuous responsibility for operations and corrective maintenance for approximately 400 apartments in the area. You actively contribute to the region's overall results and play a key role in ensuring that Sveafastigheter lives up to our core values – long-term, innovative, present, and business-minded.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving, handling, and resolving fault reports
- Communication with our tenants
- Routine inspections and corrective maintenance for minor repairs and maintenance work (e.g., replacement of fridge/freezer/stove when applicable)
- Ordering and following up on repairs and maintenance measures
- Changing filters and general supervision of ventilation systems, heating systems, and heat pumps, as well as performing occasional plumbing (VVS) work
- Problem-solving for the building's technical systems, such as indoor climate, heating, and ventilation
- Participation in energy efficiency projects
- Supervision and inspection of interior and exterior environments
- Conducting apartment inspections
- Performing SBA (Coordinated Building and Infrastructure Management) rounds
About you
To thrive in the role of Property Technician with us, you need to appreciate the combination of service and property management. You enjoy creating a pleasant atmosphere and building trusting relationships with our tenants. As a person, you are solution-oriented and have a good ability to plan and structure your workday efficiently.
Formal requirements:
- Upper secondary education in technology; knowledge of plumbing (VVS), control and regulation, and/or electrical systems is advantageous
- A few years of work experience in the real estate industry, construction, or related technical fields
- Understanding of property maintenance/technology
- Valid driver's license (Category B)
- Basic IT skills and the ability to learn digital systems
- Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Basic proficiency in English, both spoken and written
We consider it an advantage if you also have:
- Previous experience with electrical work, plumbing (VVS), ventilation, and white goods
- Previous experience as a Property Technician with knowledge of SBA
- Experience with the property management systems Vitec and Greenview
- Previous experience in operations and maintenance
