About the role

Our client is facing an exciting phase where a brand new software product is moving from MVP to pilot launch, while features for the next generation are already being developed.

As a UX Designer, you will have a central role in the product's continued development. You will work closely with an experienced UX Lead, Product Owner, developers, and project managers to further develop existing concepts and create new features that are turned into finished products.

The role is development-oriented and suits you who thrive on turning ideas into actionable solutions. You will work closely with an experienced design team in Lund and simultaneously act as the natural link to the development team in Prague. Collaboration, communication, and relationship building are crucial for success in the role, which also offers an international context with regular trips to Prague, approximately three days every sixth week depending on the project phase.

Responsibilities

The role involves close collaboration with both the UX Lead and developers to create user-friendly and technically feasible interfaces for a unique software product that is constantly evolving.

• Further develop existing concepts, wireframes, and design solutions in Figma.
• Design new features and user flows for future product versions.
• Ensure that design solutions work in practical implementation through close collaboration with developers.
• Act as a link between the design organization in Lund and the development team in Prague.
• Drive the design work forward independently within international project phases.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships between different disciplines and teams.

We are looking for you who

• Have post-secondary education in interaction design, digital design, or equivalent technical focus.
• Have experience with UI design for digital products.
• Have good knowledge of Figma.
• Have experience with design systems or component-based design.
• Have very good knowledge of Swedish & English, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have

• Experience with technology-heavy products or B2B solutions.
• Experience working closely with development teams in digital product development.
• Experience working in agile development teams.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
