Marenor is now looking for a Buyer for our purchasing department – a key role where you actively contribute to developing the future of seafood production.

As a Buyer, you are responsible for strengthening the company's purchasing position and contributing to increased competitiveness and profitability. You analyze business and sustainability risks in the supply chain, develop action plans, and drive initiatives. You ensure that our suppliers meet requirements and certifications, and you negotiate and sign framework agreements within your categories. The role involves both operational and strategic work in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Approximately 3-5 years of experience in both operational and more strategic purchasing
• Experience from similar purchasing roles, preferably within consumer goods
• Negotiation skills
• Project management experience
• Very good knowledge of the Office package
• Experience working in business systems, preferably SAP or M3
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

Merits:

• Experience with packaging & ingredients
• Knowledge of raw materials, preferably fish & shellfish
• Experience from production and/or sales
• Post-secondary education in economics, commerce, logistics, or equivalent

The work location can be at one of our factories in Lysekil or Kungshamn, or alternatively at our headquarters in Gothenburg.
