In this role, you have a central part in the strategic work with information security and data protection to protect the Child and Youth Administration's digital assets and operations. The role also includes IT strategic work and system administration.
You are responsible, together with your closest colleagues, for the IT strategic work, system administration, and ensuring that the digital environment is developed based on the needs of the operations and the external environment.
Your main task is to lead, coordinate, and follow up on information security work and ensure that the administration processes personal data in a legal and correct manner according to GDPR. To ensure this, you will lead the work in creating governing documents, be advisory and supportive within the administration. As the Data Protection Officer, in addition to being advisory and supportive, you will also audit operations. The role involves creating and updating governing documents for information security and developing methods and routines to measure and improve information security and GDPR compliance within the administration. The position requires you to stay updated on the latest developments and legislation in the field of information security (e.g., the GDPR, NIS2 Directive, Cyber Security Act, etc.) and to inform and advise the administration and committee on how to relate to these.
The system administrator role involves coordinating users, IT, suppliers, and operations regarding troubleshooting, support, operations, and development. You document routines, create manuals and training materials, and support users on how to use the systems. The system administrator role also includes responsibility for contracts and contract follow-up as well as work with security and regulatory compliance.
The role involves being a support to operations and the committee in information security matters. You will lead the work with data protection, information classification, information security incidents, advise on security management and risks, and educate and raise awareness about information security.
