About the role

Do you want to help shape the IT landscape in a business-critical environment within the energy sector? In this role, you will contribute to several important projects and initiatives where you support the business with architecture that creates clarity, sustainability, and direction.

You will work in a large organization with many stakeholders, parallel initiatives, and complex dependencies between systems, integrations, platforms, and technical environments. Here, you will help translate needs and requirements into well-thought-out solutions that work both in the short and long term.

This role is suitable for you who thrive on combining analysis, structure, and collaboration, and who want an assignment where you can influence technical decisions in an environment where architecture is a key part of business development.

Responsibilities
  • You develop and document architectural solutions within various projects and IT initiatives.
  • You analyze needs, requirements, dependencies, and consequences from an architectural perspective.
  • You guide projects and the business in the selection of solutions and technical direction.
  • You ensure that solutions adhere to established architectural principles, guidelines, and ways of working.
  • You collaborate with project managers, business representatives, specialists, suppliers, and other architects.
  • You contribute to ensuring that solutions are purposeful, sustainable, and manageable over time.
  • You create architecture descriptions, decision support documents, and other relevant materials for decision-making.
  • You participate in architecture forums, reviews, and other decision-making processes related to architecture.
  • You may also contribute to related projects and maintenance activities where your architectural expertise adds value.
Requirements
  • Several years of experience working as an IT architect in large and/or complex IT environments with multiple stakeholders and parallel initiatives.
  • Experience in developing and documenting architectural solutions.
  • Experience in translating business needs and requirements into sustainable IT solutions.
  • Experience working with dependencies between systems, integrations, platforms, and technical environments.
  • Experience working according to established architectural principles, processes, and ways of working within a large organization.
  • Experience working in both traditional projects and agile environments.
  • Very strong documentation skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Good proficiency in English.
