Software, Electronics, and Hardware Test Engineer for an exciting role in Gothenburg

We are currently looking for an experienced Test Engineer specializing in software, electronics, and hardware for an exciting parental leave assignment with a leading player in the automotive industry in Gothenburg. The employment is through a staffing agency, and you will become part of an engaged team working on advanced alarm and tailgate functions.

This is a varied and developmental role where you will work with the latest technology in an innovative environment alongside competent colleagues.

Your responsibilities

As a Test Engineer, you will among other things:

• Plan, execute, and follow up on verification and validation of system functions.
• Define test activities, test equipment, and prepare test objects together with requirement owners and suppliers.
• Perform component, domain, and complete verification in Rig, Boxcar, HIL, and on vehicles.
• Develop test methods and test cases in Carweaver and vTestStudio.
• Write test cases and plan and coordinate test activities.
• Create bug reports and participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving together with system and function owners.
• Review suppliers' test results and communicate improvement suggestions.
• Perform log analysis, measurements, and troubleshooting on components, signals, and actuators.
• Work with test automation and integration into CI environments.
• Ensure that work is delivered according to set quality and acceptance criteria.

We are looking for someone who has

• A degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a corresponding technical field.
• Experience in automated verification of system design and software.
• Experience with test automation.
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and familiarity with using measuring instruments such as voltmeters and oscilloscopes.
• Experience with tools such as Carweaver, CANalyzer/CANoe, INCA, DSA, Car Config Edit, Teamcenter, VT System, and vTestStudio is a plus.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
