System Administrator for the Learning Section in Tranemo Municipality

Do you want to be the hub of our school system? Then apply for the position of System Administrator, as our current colleague is retiring. You will become part of the central administration of the Learning Section, supporting and creating the conditions for Tranemo Municipality's school and preschool operations to carry out their assignments based on the laws, regulations, and goals that govern and develop the activities.

Job Responsibilities

The main task is to be the expert and the unifying force for our school system, Edlevo, to maximize its benefit. You will administer, manage, develop, and continue the implementation of the system and related issues.

You need to understand users' needs and be able to adapt or drive changes in the system to ensure the operations function efficiently.

Additional systems may be assigned to the role in the future.

The role also includes:

  • serving as the section's content manager, which involves maintaining the Learning Section's parts of the website and the intranet NEMO,
  • preparing materials, statistics, and simpler economic tasks,
  • providing administrative support to the section management,
  • creating and maintaining the section's e-services in collaboration with a colleague.

The Team

You are part of the section's overarching administrative team, which includes IT coordinators, case handlers, and business developers. The team's general mission is to provide administrative, coordinating, and developmental support.

There are currently several collaboration forums/networks for handling the assignment, where you will participate as a representative of the Learning Section.

The team you will join has various specialized competencies. To create stability, we work so that assignments overlap to some extent. Therefore, the position may involve tasks in collaboration with colleagues in the group.

Qualifications

You have a university degree in a relevant field, such as system science, social sciences, public administration, or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent.

You have the ability to work independently and in teams, good communication skills, and a service-oriented attitude in contact with staff and students.

You have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

You have good IT skills and experience working in administrative systems.

Category B Driver's License

Meritorious are experiences from working within school activities and from similar assignments.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, such as flexibility and a desire to drive development in the area.

Employment Terms

  • Salary: Monthly salary.
  • Employment type: Permanent position.
  • Duration: Start date: 2026-11-30 (November 30), with the possibility of starting earlier.
  • Working hours: Daytime.
