Björkris is Kungsbacka's largest care and housing facility for the elderly, completed in the spring of 2023. Here you will find 120 modern and cozy apartments where each resident has the opportunity to create their own secure daily life. With proximity to the commuter train and only 20 minutes to Gothenburg, it is a convenient and accessible workplace.

The Role of Nursing Assistant with Us

In this role, you provide good care and social support based on the resident's needs. Your work also includes social documentation, various health and medical care tasks, as well as planning and carrying out daily activities to ensure a pleasant existence for our residents. We work qualitatively and goal-oriented using the BPSD register and other methods that promote a person-centered approach where care and support are provided safely and securely based on the individual's needs and wishes. We want to offer security to those we are here for, seeing collaboration as a key factor for our organization. We believe the role of contact person is very important and expect you to take significant responsibility in this area.

In our facility, the Service Administration cleans the residents' apartments, and our work clothes are sent for circulation laundry. Your schedule will be set for days, evenings, and every other weekend. You are expected to perform delegated health and medical care tasks based on your position and the operational needs.

You take responsibility, drive your work forward, deliver results, and prioritize your work efficiently. You see opportunities in changes, take initiative, and bring new approaches to work-related issues. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained nursing assistant
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work

Our Offer and Other Information

We offer a permanent full-time position with start date according to agreement.

About permanent employment day/evening: The position is full-time or according to agreement. Within the Department of Care & Support, all employees in home care and care housing are employed at 100% capacity, but employees have the opportunity to reduce their capacity to the desired level based on operational needs.

Before an employment offer is made, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record register must be presented. As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected professional title.
