The Technical and Property Administration delivers internal services so that our colleagues in other operations can focus on their core activities. We are responsible for the operation and development of public spaces and issue permits so that the municipal group and the business community can conduct their operations. We also ensure that children, students, and care recipients receive good and nutritionally sound meals, and that the municipality's premises are well-maintained and suitable for their purpose.

The technical operations consist of approximately 150 dedicated employees distributed across five units: parks, streets, projects, coast & green areas, vehicles & internal service.

We are now looking for a construction worker with a focus on ground and construction work for the Street Unit.

Job Responsibilities

As a construction worker, your tasks will vary between construction work, stone setting, paving, and various ground works. The work primarily involves new construction and renovation of residential streets, parking areas, as well as pedestrian and cycle paths, and replacement of slabs and stones after, for example, utility work.

At times, other tasks may be included, such as forestry work, and the content of the work may also vary depending on, among other things, the season.

The supervisor will provide you with the right conditions to work independently during the day and drive the work forward.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have experience and good knowledge of ground and construction work. Other advantageous qualifications include having a license for wheel loaders and excavators, road work experience, a certificate for hot work, as well as knowledge and experience of cable laying in the ground.

Category B driver's license is required.
