Kanlås is an established security company in Hälsingland with strong local roots and a family-oriented culture. The company is now ramping up its efforts in alarms, cameras, and access control systems, and is looking for an Alarm Technician who wants to help build and develop this area. Here you will work in a stable company with short decision-making processes, while becoming part of an initiative to develop the business within alarms, cameras, and access control.

The company was founded in 2010 and has evolved from a traditional locksmith to a complete security partner offering holistic solutions in locks, alarms, access control, cameras, and fire protection, from design to installation and service. Today, Kanlås has approximately 20 employees and operations in Hudiksvall, Ljusdal, Söderhamn, and Bollnäs. The company is a certified contractor (alarm class 2) and is part of Prosero Security Group.

About the position

As an Alarm Technician, you will become a key player in Kanlås’s expansion in alarms, access control, and cameras. You will work closely with an Alarm Engineer and help develop the business forward.

You will work remotely from home and visit customers on-site, primarily within Hälsingland. The role is varied and includes installation, commissioning, and service. You will primarily work with systems such as Axema ARX, RCO M5/Mega, and Salto.

Simpler lock work and other installations within fittings may occur as needed, but the role will have a clear focus on alarms, access control, and cameras over time.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of alarm and access control systems
• Service, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Customer contact and technical advice
• Collaboration with Alarm Engineers and other technicians
• Contribute to developing and building the alarm business

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least 2–3 years of experience with alarms and access control systems
• Has relevant education in electricity or technology
• Has a valid driver’s license (Category B)
• Is fluent in Swedish (spoken and written)
• Has a clean background check

Qualifications that are a plus:

• Experience with camera systems (CCTV, etc.)
• Experience in sales within security solutions

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, responsible, and enjoys working independently. You have a technical interest, are solution-oriented, and appreciate customer interaction in your daily work.

• Working hours: 07:00–16:00
• Location: Hälsingland (remote base)
• Travel within the region occurs
