Volvo Maskin Service is now looking for a mechanic on a rotational basis with a work area in Troms. You do not need to be resident in Troms, as the employer covers travel to and from the meeting point during the rotational periods.

We are also looking for an outdoor mechanic for a permanent position located in Tromsø, Narvik, or Inner Troms.

About the Role

As a mechanic at Volvo Maskin Service, you will work with servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing construction machinery and associated equipment, either at the customer's site or in the workshop. You will become part of a strong service organization with modern tools and great opportunities for development.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintenance of construction machinery and equipment
• Troubleshooting and repairs
• Customer contact and on-site technical support
• Documentation of completed work

Qualifications

• Vocational training as a construction mechanic, vehicle mechanic, or equivalent
• Experience with construction machinery, heavy vehicles, or agricultural machinery is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Norwegian or Swedish, both spoken and written
• Category B driver's license (BE, C1, or C1E is an advantage)
