We are now looking for a licensed occupational therapist for the municipality's Health and Medical Care Team (HSL unit). We welcome your application!

The Workplace

The Health and Medical Care Unit consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation assistants. We work with patients aged 18 and older who require primary healthcare services in their homes, whether in specialized or ordinary housing, as well as within disability care.

The Role and Responsibilities

Your duties include analyzing, mapping/assessing, treating, and providing advice and support to increase the individual's ability to participate in activities, based on their specific needs. Your responsibilities also include prescribing assistive devices/cognitive support and writing various certificates. Providing guidance and support to relatives and care staff is also an important part of the job.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. A driver's license for a car with a manual transmission is also required.

Experience working within municipal healthcare is an advantage.

We value personal qualities such as social competence and flexibility. The job requires that you can work independently and have the ability to make decisions and assessments. You must also have the ability to plan and organize your workday efficiently. You are a humane person and positive towards collaborating with different professional categories. You must also have good communication skills and the ability to write documentation in Swedish.

Before employment for work in the homes of elderly persons or adults with disabilities, an extract from the criminal record register must be presented in accordance with current legislation. The extract must be presented to the employer before the employment begins to ensure safety and security for our users.
