Your tasks

As nursing staff in your municipal home care service, you work close to people in their own homes. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for carrying out care work based on each person's needs, wishes, and decisions on support.

The goal of our work is to make it possible for older people to continue living at home for as long as they wish. You work with the individual's participation and self-determination in focus and contribute to ensuring that interventions are carried out with good quality.

The tasks vary depending on the individual's needs and can include, among other things:

• personal care
• support during meals
• service interventions, such as cleaning
• social interaction and support in daily life
• documentation
• medication management after delegation from a nurse

You start your work shift together with your colleagues where you go through and coordinate the day's work.

Heavy lifting may occur and mobility aids are used in the work. Work in homes where pets are present or smoking occurs may also occur.

About you

We are looking for you who enjoy working with people and who meet others with respect, sensitivity, and care.

It is meritorious if you have experience from home care or other operations within healthcare and social care. Nursing assistant training or other education within healthcare and social care is also meritorious, but not a requirement.

We also welcome you who lack previous experience but who have the right personal qualities, a genuine interest in people, and a willingness to learn the job.

You are secure in yourself, enjoy collaborating with others, and take responsibility for your tasks. You contribute to a good working climate and want to be part of creating care with high quality.

To be able to communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, access and document information, and be able to receive medication delegation, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both in speech and writing. You also have a B driver's license and/or can cycle.
