We are currently facing an exciting development where the new Social Services Act and the activity requirement reform place higher demands on quality, coordination, and individual adaptation. As an Employment Coordinator with coordination responsibilities, you will become a key person in helping people move closer to work, studies, and self-sufficiency. You will operate at the intersection of individual support, collaboration, and operational development. One moment you are sitting with a participant finding strategies to make daily life work better; the next, you are coordinating efforts between different actors or contributing to developing the organization's working methods. In short, you help both people and organizations find better paths forward.

You will become an important link between participants, social secretaries, the employment unit, healthcare, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and other collaboration partners. Together, you will create interventions that are realistic, understandable, and sustainable over time.

In this role, you will work to strengthen individuals' motivation, participation, and confidence in their own abilities. You will assess work capacity and identify both resources and obstacles to create the best possible conditions for each individual. When daily life, health, or life situation makes the path to work more challenging, you provide solution-focused support and help participants create structure, planning, and sustainable routines.

You are responsible for designing, implementing, and following up on individual adaptations, ensuring that the right intervention is given at the right level and at the right time. A key part of the assignment is to coordinate efforts between different professions and authorities to create a cohesive and efficient rehabilitation or employment process.

The role also includes supervising colleagues on issues related to work capacity, treatment, and adaptations. Through your commitment, you also contribute to developing the organization's working methods, quality, and collaboration, with the goal of creating sustainable results for both participants and the organization.

YOUR PROFILE

We believe in the right competence in the right place.

We are looking for you who have a relevant university degree, for example as an occupational therapist, behavioral scientist, rehabilitation scientist, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. It is an advantage if you have experience of employment measures, rehabilitation, social work, or collaboration between different authorities and organizations.

We believe you are a person who sees both the details and the big picture. You enjoy creating structure in complex situations and thrive when you get to collaborate with others to solve problems. You are secure in your profession but also curious about new working methods and perspectives. Furthermore, you have the ability to meet people where they are without losing focus on the goal ahead.
