We are now looking for a skilled environmental worker with machine operator training and experience driving wheel loaders and/or material handlers for our facility in Länna.

At our facility in Länna, we receive, sort, treat, and recycle waste from all types of operations. We sort and inspect the waste and prepare it for further transport to recycling facilities.

The team consists of 11 employees (handling both hazardous and non-hazardous waste) working under a team leader and a section manager.

Your responsibilities

You will primarily work with sorting and reloading of waste using a wheel loader. Operation of other machines may also be required. Manual labor may also occur. A key part of your work will be delivery inspections of incoming materials to ensure quality, labeling, and proper storage of the waste. Other tasks include preparing containers and maintaining good order at the facility.

Your profile

We are looking for you who are self-motivated and driven, with a good sense of service and the ability to build good relationships with colleagues and customers. Furthermore, you must have a B driver's license and machine operator qualifications for excavators and wheel loaders. You should also be computer literate as some reporting will be required. Previous experience in the recycling industry is a merit.

Working at the facility in Länna requires you to take safety very seriously and follow safety regulations when you are in a traffic-heavy environment. To succeed in the role, it is important that you are service-oriented, responsible, self-motivated, and have good teamwork skills.

Full-time, 2 shifts/weekdays (06:00–15:00 and 08:00–17:00)
