Witalabostäder AB and AB Vetlanda Industrilokaler are now seeking a joint CEO

Witalabostäder AB and AB Vetlanda Industrilokaler are two municipally owned property companies that together create the conditions for Vetlanda to live and grow. Witalabostäder provides long-term landlordship, having managed apartments and commercial premises since 1963. At the same time, AB Vetlanda Industrilokaler acts as an engine for the local business community by building operational premises. Their goal is for the tenant to eventually take over operations when the business is mature. We are now looking for a joint CEO who wants to lead and develop both of these community-building companies.

About the position

As CEO, you have overall responsibility for leading, running, and developing the operations in both companies based on the boards' decisions and ownership directives. You have a holistic perspective and represent the companies externally, while simultaneously being a key person internally. You lead the companies' management teams and are part of the municipality's senior management group, where you always work with the best interests of the entire municipal group as your goal.

Job Description

Your main areas of responsibility and tasks include:

• Strategic and business leadership: Develop long-term strategies, drive the creation of business plans, and initiate new investments. All of this with continuous and effective environmental scanning.
• Link to the board and politics: Report to the owner (Vetlanda Stadshus AB), provide the company boards with well-founded materials for decision-making, and ensure that political decisions are implemented.
• Lead employees and organization: Have overall responsibility for personnel and working environment. Through dialogue, you create trusting relationships and a positive work climate that promotes participation and creativity. You also handle union cooperation.
• Responsibility for economy and quality: Have overall responsibility for budgeting, coordination, prioritization, and financial follow-up.

We are looking for you who

To succeed and thrive in the role, we are looking for you who have:

• A university degree (preferably with a focus on organization, leadership, or technology), or other experience deemed equivalent to this level.
• Several years of successful experience in executive and leadership roles with personnel responsibility.
• Experience in being financially responsible for a large operation.
• Good knowledge of systematic quality work, budgeting, financial follow-up, and change management.
• Good understanding of current legislation, especially municipal laws and the Swedish Companies Act.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Class B driver's license and access to a personal car.
