The psychosis clinic in Nyköping is a specialist clinic for patients with psychotic disorders. We are part of the Psychiatric Clinic Nyköping/Katrineholm. The clinic is located at Nyköping Hospital, within walking distance of trains and buses.

Your Responsibilities

As a nurse here, you work closely with the patient and are an important part of the team. Your tasks are varied and include:

• Motivational conversations with patients.
• Home visits and follow-up on patient well-being.
• Collaboration with neighboring care providers and the municipality.
• Leading group therapy and education for patients and relatives.

We work with individual care plans to increase patient involvement and hold regular check-ins and treatment conferences to shorten the path to decisions.

Your Qualifications

• Trained as a mental health nurse or assistant nurse (preferably with experience working with patients with psychiatric issues).
• Have, in addition to your assistant nurse certificates, a certificate of your professional license as an assistant nurse from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or a certificate stating that you were employed as an assistant nurse on July 1, 2023.
• Take personal responsibility, are structured, and can plan your work.
• Can work independently but enjoys collaborating in teams regarding patients.
• Have a professional attitude and a holistic view of the human being.
