Description

We are looking for you who want to play a role together with us as we ramp up our maintenance work and drive more smaller, customer-oriented projects. Therefore, we are now expanding our operations with three property engineers.

Here, you will work on the development of one of Sweden's largest public housing portfolios. The housing company has a diverse property offering with various types of property architecture and technical solutions.

You will work in one of our three districts: City Centre, Hisingen, or Öster, which together house a broad and varied property portfolio with both older and newer buildings. As a property engineer, you will work closely with your colleagues in the same role to ensure an efficient and uniform working method across the entire property portfolio. You will also collaborate closely with both property managers and technical managers, where you together drive the development of our properties with a focus on quality, sustainability, and customer benefit.

Responsibilities

As a property engineer, your focus will be on driving smaller customer-oriented and preventive projects through the use of existing framework agreements. The role is oriented towards an operational and execution-oriented assignment. You will have close collaboration with the manager in each respective area and, as needed, provide support to other functions in the organization in the execution of smaller technical measures and projects.

In the role of property engineer, you will among other things:

  • Initiate, plan, and execute smaller customer-oriented and preventive projects.
  • Ensure efficient use of existing framework agreements.
  • Collaborate closely with managers to identify, assess, and prioritize maintenance needs on a smaller scale.
  • Collaborate with other relevant functions in the organization to turn identified needs into executable projects.
  • Build, update, and manage a living project portfolio for the district.
  • Follow up on executed projects and contribute to the continuous development of working methods.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a technical education in property technology, building technology, HVAC, energy, or equivalent. We see that you have experience in technical work within property management. You have experience driving multiple parallel projects and are accustomed to working with contractors via framework agreements. You have understanding and experience of economic follow-up of projects as well as experience working in property systems and digital documentation.

As a person, you are collaborative, work well with others, and actively contribute to joint solutions. We also see that you have a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently. You ensure that work is completed on time and follow up on results. In this role, it is important that you are driven, take initiative, and drive the work forward with a focus on execution and results.

Other

We only accept applications via our website and recruitment portal. You submit your application through the link in the advertisement. The selection process begins after the summer holiday, and interviews are planned to take place during weeks 38–39.

About Us

The housing company has approximately 25,000 rental apartments distributed across all districts of Gothenburg. This makes us one of Gothenburg's largest landlords and an important part of societal and urban development.

We are approximately 400 people working at the housing company. Most work out in our residential areas closest to our tenants, while others work centrally in one of our support functions. More than 20 different professions are represented here, but regardless of professional role, we all work towards the same goal – to create good and secure living environments together with around 50,000 tenants and our other collaboration partners.

Our operations are characterized by sustainability, social responsibility, and a strong customer focus. We work actively with our values and want our employees to enjoy coming to work. The housing company is part of the Framtiden Group, which is part of the City of Gothenburg. This means that we work for a sustainable city, open to the world.
