At the Swedish Migration Agency, we work with one of today's major societal challenges – migration. We are a total of approximately 6,000 employees here, and we have an unusually important job!
We are looking for a Team Leader for the detention centre in Åstorp. Here, you will work with current societal issues influenced by global events. Issues that touch and engage people. We offer a dynamic environment where continuous improvement and human interaction are at the forefront.
At a detention unit, individuals who have received a decision on refusal of entry or deportation and who need to be available for enforcement are placed. A person may also be detained if their right to stay in the country or their identity needs to be investigated. The detention centre is a closed unit, and operations run 24/7. The work is based on current legislation where legal certainty, dignity, and security are paramount.
