About the role

Our client is in an expansion phase where a new generation of defense systems is being gradually put into operation. To ensure high availability and operational capability over time, well-thought-out and sustainable solutions for maintenance, repair, testing, and support are required. Here, you will play a key role in creating the conditions for the systems to function – not just today, but for many years to come.

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for establishing and developing maintenance solutions for technically advanced systems. You drive projects in close collaboration with technicians, engineers, customers, authorities, and suppliers to ensure that the right processes, resources, and competencies are in place when the systems are commissioned and maintained over time.

You will become part of a small and experienced project management group where you will have a central role in coordinating several parallel initiatives. Together, you will work on developing and implementing long-term maintenance and support solutions for technically complex products, with high demands on quality, safety, and delivery capability.

The role offers a varied daily routine with many contact surfaces and significant personal responsibility. You will have the opportunity to work close to the operations, influence important decisions, and contribute to the development of solutions that have great significance for future operational capability.

Main Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will among other things:

• Identify, define, and lead sub-projects from planning to implementation and closure.
• Ensure that projects deliver according to set goals, schedules, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate closely with internal functions, customers, and external suppliers to create efficient and sustainable solutions.
• Drive commercial dialogues and coordinate work together with suppliers and partners.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, and resources to ensure progress.
• Contribute to the development of strategies and working methods within the maintenance and supply area.
• Report project status and results to relevant stakeholders.

We are looking for you who

• Have experience working with maintenance and support solutions for technically complex products or systems, for example within the automotive, aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industries.
• Have experience in project management, coordination, or technical leadership in a business with many stakeholders and high demands on quality and delivery security.
• Have good technical understanding and the ability to translate business needs into practical and sustainable solutions.
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.

Meritorious

• Background as a maintenance engineer, systems engineer, or similar technical role with a focus on maintenance, availability, or lifecycle management.
• Experience working in project environments where collaboration between customers, suppliers, and internal organizations is a central part of the work.
