Tempest Security is currently seeking particularly suitable employees for future assignments within close protection. Selected candidates are offered the opportunity to undergo our authorized training in protection of an individual for their own account, with the aim of joining our close protection organization upon successful completion.

About the assignment
As a close protection operator, you work to prevent, deter, and handle threats, violence, harassment, and other risks directed at a principal. The assignment also includes safeguarding the principal's personal integrity and ensuring that they can carry out their daily life and commitments in a safe and controlled manner.

Close protection is conducted through systematic risk assessments, planning, advice, and operational security measures. The work can be carried out openly, civically, or discreetly, depending on the threat landscape, the nature of the assignment, and the principal's needs.

The role requires you to work proactively and methodically for long periods, but also to immediately change pace and act decisively when the situation demands it. You must be able to make well-founded decisions under pressure, collaborate closely with others, and always prioritize the principal's safety and integrity.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who are calm, stable, and responsible. You have high integrity, a well-developed security mindset, and the ability to act professionally in both everyday and demanding situations.

Social competence, judgment, and sensitivity are crucial. You need to be able to read people and environments, adapt your behavior to the situation, and build trust without losing focus on the security task.

It is an advantage if you have an interest and aptitude in areas such as:

• advanced vehicle driving
• self-defense and intervention techniques
• weapon handling
• first aid
• risk and threat assessment
• planning and execution of operational security assignments

To be considered for selection, you must:

• be at least 23 years old
• have passed the Basic Guard Training (VU1 and VU2)
• have at least two years of documented service as a guard
• have been a full-time employee at one of Tempest Security's companies for at least two years
• hold a valid B driver's license and have a good aptitude for vehicle driving
• be crime-free and assessed as suitable for the assignment
• have good physical and mental capacity
• be in good physical condition and health
• be able to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English
• have good vision with correction and at least 0.5 visual acuity in the worst eye without correction
• have normal color vision
• be able to present a valid accident insurance policy
• be able to present a valid passport or passport copy
• be able to attend throughout the entire training period

• ability to switch from low activity to immediate operational action

You should be able to work without ego and loyally in a group, while also being able to make independent decisions and take responsibility for the task when needed.

Selection and Suitability Assessment
All candidates undergo a structured selection process. This may include among other things:

• interview and suitability assessment
• verification of education and service
• physical and mental assessment
• driving ability test
• security and background checks
• practical and theoretical selection moments

Meeting the basic requirements does not automatically mean the candidate is accepted. Personal suitability, judgment, reliability, and development potential will weigh very heavily in the overall assessment.

About the training
The training is conducted over ten intensive and demanding training days. The pace is high and includes both theoretical and practical moments.

The training requires:

• 100 percent attendance
• full preparation and active participation
• high physical and mental endurance
• passed results in all mandatory moments
• ability to receive feedback and apply it in practice

Successful completion of the training does not guarantee immediate placement or a specific number of assignments. Staffing is based on business needs, current threat landscape, assignment requirements, and the candidate's overall suitability.
