We are now looking for a business-driven and operational Operations & Business Manager who wants to help develop our staffing operations in the Mälardalen region, with a focus on growth, leadership, and results.

About the role

As an Operations & Business Manager here, you are responsible for ensuring that our delivery to the customer works in practice. A central part of the role is to build, develop, and lead strong teams, as well-functioning teams are the foundation for stable delivery and good results.

The work takes place close to both customers and employees, where you ensure that staffing, quality, and productivity maintain the right level through visible leadership and clear follow-up. A large part of the work takes place at our customers' premises, where you lead in daily operations, monitor how the work functions in practice, and act quickly when adjustments are needed. The role is operational, meaning you are close to the operations yourself and a natural part of the business.

You have Operations Support to assist you, relieving you of administrative tasks such as bookings, time reporting, and follow-up, as well as Talent Sourcers who are responsible for attracting and appointing the right competence to your teams. This gives you the prerequisites to focus on the business, leadership, and development in the region.

In parallel with the operational responsibility, you drive the development of our staffing operations in the Mälardalen region, with a clear focus on Eskilstuna and the surrounding area, from which you will also operate. This means you work actively to develop both new and existing customer relationships within staffing solutions, while simultaneously leading the daily work and developing the internal team in the region. You are responsible for leading the work forward and establishing structure and ways of working that create clarity and direction over time.

The role also involves active responsibility for the staffing business. You drive the sales of staffing services, identify new business opportunities, and develop existing collaborations, with a focus on growth in the region. Operational presence is combined with business acumen, with a clear focus on developing teams, delivery, and business over time.

Your areas of responsibility:

• Drive and develop the staffing business in the Mälardalen region, focusing on Eskilstuna and nearby areas
• Identify new business opportunities and establish new customer relationships within the region
• Develop and manage existing customer collaborations over time
• Build, develop, and lead teams at customer sites with a focus on engagement, stability, and performance
• Ensure that delivery to the customer functions according to set goals related to quality, productivity, and staffing
• Follow up and develop delivery based on KPIs at both individual and team levels, and drive improvements
• Lead and develop the internal team in the Mälardalen region
• Act quickly in case of deviations and drive actions together with the customer and internal functions
• Independently plan, prioritize, and drive your work to achieve set goals

Who are you?

You have experience from the staffing industry in a similar role, with experience from the warehousing and logistics sector. Above all, you are confident in a role with both personnel and business responsibility, and have a good understanding of what is required to make both the staffing business and delivery function over time.

Your leadership is visible and based on the insight that strong teams create good results. You have experience building teams that perform and acting when things are not working. The role requires a combination of operational leadership, business acumen, and follow-up. You work in a structured manner, prioritize correctly, and drive your work forward with a focus on both growth and results. As a person, you are solution-oriented and unpretentious, but also clear when necessary. You build trust through presence, accessibility, and consistency in your actions, and handle multiple contact areas simultaneously with confidence in dialogues with both customers and employees. You are comfortable with both developing people and driving business, and take responsibility for creating results even when conditions change.

Your background

You have experience from staffing operations within warehousing and logistics, and experience in sales and business development is meritorious. In your leadership, you are confident and used to working operationally, where presence, clarity, and follow-up are crucial for making the business function. You have experience creating structure, setting expectations, and following up on performance at both individual and team levels.

You communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good system proficiency. A valid driver's license (Category B) is required, and experience with Intelliplan is meritorious.

The position is a full-time role with an initial probationary period, located in the Mälardalen region with a base in Eskilstuna. The role involves working on-site at our customers' locations, and you must be able to travel within the region for work.
