A job close to life and death

With us, you build trust and confidence with our customers and act as a guide during a time that for many is filled with sorrow and uncertainty. Working in funeral services is varied, eventful, and requires a good understanding of people's different needs. Some of the tasks for a transporter include:

• Handling the deceased with dignity during pickup, shrouding, and coffin placement
• Performing pickups of the deceased in private homes and residential facilities
• Assisting our customers during personal farewells

To our transport unit in Gothenburg, we are looking for a new colleague to join our team. The position is temporary staffing on an hourly basis as needed, with working hours according to agreement. Working hours vary based on operational needs, and evening, night, and weekend work may occur.

What you bring to the table

• You have a driver's license and good driving experience with larger vehicles in urban environments
• Good physical fitness, as several heavy lifts are part of the job
• High flexibility regarding working hours, and we view positively your ability to step in with short notice

This means you need to have a strong commitment to the customer, be confident in your competence, and treat people with care and understanding. To handle and create security in difficult situations, you need to be sensitive, communicative, and clear.
