Head Waiter/Hostess for Captains Table – where the sea meets community

Stenungsbaden is growing, and we are now looking for a Head Waiter/Hostess for our restaurant, Captains Table – where the energy of the American East Coast meets the relaxed charm of the Swedish West Coast.

We are looking for you who:

• Are passionate about creating fantastic guest experiences and a strong team spirit.
• Have experience in leadership roles within the restaurant industry and enjoy coaching your team.
• Have a natural sense of hospitality and are confident in taking initiative.
• Are flexible and solution-oriented – you see opportunities where others see obstacles.
• Have an eye for detail and know that the little extra makes a big difference.

The role includes:

• Taking full responsibility for the restaurant's delivery during your shift – from service flow to guest experience.
• Greeting and seating guests with a warm and professional attitude.
• Leading and inspiring the restaurant team to ensure a top-class service experience.
• Collaborating closely with the kitchen and the restaurant manager to continuously develop our offering.
• Monitoring the service flow and ensuring everything runs smoothly – even during the most intense evenings.

Where the world becomes smaller but life becomes bigger

Stenungsbaden is a magical place. Close to the sea, just a stone's throw from the quay, and with the salty waters of Bohuslän nearby, lies our gem. It comprises 214 rooms, the Bluewater Sports & Health Club, conference and event venues for up to 1,500 people, as well as our restaurants Captains Table and the summer restaurant Kookaburra on the pier. We also have several bars and energizing outdoor areas. Our guests come here both to enjoy experiences and activities and to unwind. All framed by a wonderful view of the Hakefjord and the salty sea.

Position: Head Waiter/Hostess

Employment type: Permanent position, 100% (6-month probation period). Working hours distributed across weekdays & weekends.

Start date: As soon as possible
