Assistant Nurse – Casual Worker, Days, Evenings, and Nights

Do you want a meaningful and developing job where you make a difference every day? We are now looking for dedicated assistant nurses who want to work extra shifts with us at Tussmötegården Care and Social Housing, covering days, evenings, and nights.

Tussmötegården is a municipal care and social housing facility with 80 apartments distributed across two buildings, focusing on both dementia and somatic care. We work from a person-centered approach where each care recipient is at the center, with a focus on health, well-being, and quality of life.

Here, we work together to create a safe, valuable, and stimulating environment for both care recipients and employees. Our goal is to contribute to a meaningful daily life and strengthen the individual's abilities and resources so that they can live as independently as possible.

What We Offer

We offer a meaningful and varied job as a casual assistant nurse at Tussmötegården Care and Social Housing. Here, you have the opportunity to work days, evenings, and/or nights based on the operations' needs and your availability.

You will become part of a dedicated team where we work closely with care recipients and together create a safe, valuable, and stimulating daily life. To ensure you feel secure in your role, we offer a structured introduction, support from experienced colleagues, and regular contact with your nearest manager.

Your Role

In the role of assistant nurse, you work closely with care recipients and are an important part of the daily care work. You contribute to creating security, participation, and well-being by providing good care from a person-centered and health-promoting approach.

The tasks consist of planning and implementing interventions together with the team according to the care recipient's wishes and needs, in accordance with the implementation plan. The work also includes documentation, reporting, and contributing to good quality and continuity in care.

As a casual worker, it is important that you are flexible, responsible, and have an easy time collaborating with different colleagues and work groups.

Your Competence and Experience

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a trained assistant nurse with a protected professional title.
  • Has good communication skills and very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • Is confident in the professional role and has a professional and respectful attitude.
  • Can work independently while collaborating well with colleagues.
  • Has the possibility to work day, evening, and/or night shifts as needed.

Merits include:

  • Further education in dementia care, palliative care, and/or BPSD.
  • Previous experience working in care and social housing.
  • Experience with delegated tasks.

We face exciting challenges as the Enskede Årsta Vantör district grows and entirely new neighborhoods are built. Approximately 18,000 new apartments are planned by 2030.

To work with the City of Stockholm caring for elderly people and people with disabilities in their homes, you must show an extract from the criminal record register. The extract must not be older than 6 months from the date of issue.
