Job Description

You will work in the reception, handle appointment booking, and collaborate with radiographers in both conventional X-ray and computed tomography (CT). You will work together with a radiologist on our ultrasound department and assist with fluoroscopy examinations.

Qualifications

Trained assistant nurse (undersköterska) through the upper secondary school Care and Nursing Program (three years, 2,500 credits), the Care and Nursing Program at Komvux (three terms, minimum 1,350 credits), or an equivalent assistant nurse education. You must have a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare, or be covered by transitional provisions for assistant nurses, to be employed with the title of assistant nurse. Otherwise, you may be employed in the occupational category of healthcare assistant.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who puts the patient's best interests first and has strong collaboration skills. You are proactive, ambitious, and see opportunities. The pace can be fast at times, and acute situations may arise, requiring you to be flexible and able to prioritize.

Trained assistant nurse. Experience from an X-ray department is an advantage.

About the Department

The Radiology department covers X-ray, nuclear medicine, and hospital physics. On the X-ray department, we perform various advanced examinations using modern technology in X-ray, ultrasound, and MRI. We perform 140,000 X-ray examinations annually and more than half of all liver ablations in Sweden. The clinic has modalities such as MRI, CT, angiography, conventional X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and an ablation unit. Approximately 150 people work in this department.
