Are you a readiness specialist with at least 4 years of experience? Then you have found the right place.

Our client is looking for a Readiness Consultant. The assignment involves developing and conducting learning exercises for operations at various levels. The development work is carried out in collaboration with the security unit's staff and, if necessary, representatives from various operations to ensure buy-in. The exercises aim to develop, test, and implement capability requirements at each respective level. The exercises also serve as preparation for a joint exercise in November 2026. The exercises should be adapted in complexity and scenario based on the needs of the exercised operations.

The execution of exercises should take place physically on-site together with local exercise leaders where possible, which may involve travel throughout the country. All exercises must be summarized and reported in a simple format, including observations and recommendations. The assignment is for approximately 6 months.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a readiness specialist.
• At least 1 year of experience working with large and complex public organizations.
• Experience in developing capabilities related to civil defense.
• Experience in exercise planning and exercise leadership.

• Experience leading crisis management teams and handling active crises.
• Pedagogical experience.
• Experience in planning, leading, and evaluating exercises.
• Experience working with government agencies.
• Experience working with sector-responsible authorities.
