Forskolan Plommonet is located in southeastern Lund in the district of Järnåkra. It is a small but cozy preschool with two departments. The preschool has a reception kitchen where food is collected from a nearby school, heated, and prepared for serving. The Role: Meal Assistant / Cleaner

In this recruitment, we are looking for you who can work as a meal assistant and cleaner on a 6-month temporary contract, with good opportunities for extension at Forskolan Plommonet. The position is 100% and is divided into 80% kitchen work and 20% cleaning.

We are looking for you who have relevant education within the kitchen, meal service, or another area that the employer deems equivalent.

For the position, documented experience of work in a kitchen, within a preschool, school, or other public meal service is required. Experience working in a reception kitchen is meritorious.

You must have good knowledge of food hygiene and self-control, HACCP, as well as the ability to work independently within given frameworks.

The applicant also has experience in cleaning and knowledge of cleaning methods, hygiene routines, and quality assurance in the area.

SRY, PRYL, or equivalent is meritorious.

Job Description: Meal Assistant / Cleaner at the Preschool

The position includes both work in the preschool's reception kitchen and some cleaning, where you clean the preschool according to a cleaning schedule. The majority of the working time is allocated to kitchen work. The work is based on a clear schedule and involves collecting, preparing, finishing, and serving meals.

The role includes responsibility for the daily operation of the kitchen, including handling dishes, cleaning, and preparations for upcoming workdays. The work is done in collaboration with the preschool where you collect the food as well as with other staff in the operation. Simpler cooking in the form of breakfast, salads, and snacks may occur.

In addition to kitchen work, regular cleaning is included according to a set schedule, including daily cleaning and recurring weekly, monthly, and annual deep cleaning.

The work requires structure, teamwork skills, and attention to detail to ensure that the children are served their daily meals and that the premises are clean and tidy.
