Auto Mechanic at Werksta Häggvik – Troubleshooting, Repair, and Quality
As an auto mechanic at Werksta Häggvik, you are responsible for diagnostics, service, and repair of passenger and transport vehicles according to manufacturer recommendations and workshop routines. You work in modern facilities with good tools and diagnostic equipment, collaborating closely with the sheet metal and paint teams, damage assessors, and service advisors to ensure a smooth and quality-assured repair process.
Responsibilities – Diagnostics, Repair, and Documentation
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools
- Carry out service, maintenance, and mechanical repairs according to repair instructions
- Replace components, assemble parts, and adapt solutions in line with quality policy
- Document completed work in the workshop system and report any deviations or faults
- Collaborate with the damage and paint teams to plan work orders and delivery times
- Follow safety routines, handle vehicle-related fluids, and contribute to orderliness in the workshop
Requirements & Desired Qualifications
- Vocational education in vehicle technology or equivalent experience as an auto mechanic
- Experience in troubleshooting and using diagnostic tools
- Knowledge of modern drivetrains, braking systems, electrical systems, and safety systems
- Structured, meticulous, and quality-conscious
- Ability to collaborate in a team and work independently when required
- Driver's license (Category B) and good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
