The Patient Safety Unit is part of the Health and Medical Care Department and works at a regional level with issues concerning patient safety, healthcare hygiene, infection control, radiation safety, and medicines. The unit plays a central role in supporting healthcare operations, strengthening the shared patient safety culture, and developing structures, methods, and processes that contribute to safe and secure care.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a pharmacist and wish to work with the production and management of medication templates, and who have an interest in participating in the implementation and development of a module for quality and patient safety work in Stratsys. You are a licensed pharmacist or dispensing chemist. To thrive and succeed in this role, you need to have very good computer skills and feel confident working in various digital systems. Experience in conducting medication reviews, as well as lecturing or training other professional groups, is meritorious. Previous work with quality review, follow-up, and improvement of medication-related processes is also seen as a significant asset.

What you will work with

In this role, you are part of the Medication Team, where you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for creating, quality-assuring, and managing medication templates in the medical record system Cosmic. The work aims to create safe, uniform, and user-friendly structures that support correct medication use and contribute to reducing the risk of healthcare injuries. You will be involved in the introduction and ongoing management of the Stratsys quality and patient safety module, with a special focus on structure, quality, and quality review related to medications.

You collaborate closely with other teams within the Patient Safety Unit, for example within patient safety, and provide support to operations in matters concerning medications, quality, and patient safety. Through your work, you contribute to strengthening Region Norrbotten's systematic quality and patient safety work, where structure, learning, and continuous improvements are central elements. Here, you become part of an engaged team that works in a knowledge-based, systematic manner and in close collaboration with operations to contribute to safe and secure care in Region Norrbotten.

Information about the position

We offer a full-time project position with start date by agreement. Working hours are during daytime, Monday–Friday. The position is a one-year project with the possibility of extension.

Selection and interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
