We at Attendo are now looking for a Care Assistant (Undersköterska) for Fridhemsvägen in Ronneby.

Fridhemsvägen is a specialized housing facility with space for 54 clients. The departments consist of dementia and somatic care. Fridhemsvägen is a concept housing facility with a focus on "Outdoor Activities and Gardening".

About the role

As a Care Assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our clients. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our clients. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a large part of your role, as well as contributing with various activities that brighten up the daily life of our elderly residents.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Personal care according to the facility's routines, based on the client's individual needs and wishes.
• Assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc., as needed.
• Perform documentation and work based on decided interventions.
• Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Care Assistant education of at least 1350 credits.
• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a Care Assistant.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written).
• Good computer skills/computer literacy.

Merits:

• Experience from care work in elderly care.
• Experience with delegation.
