About the Department

The Surgical Clinic at Mora Hospital is a specialist clinic located in newly built premises. The team is small, and we are co-located with the urology and orthopedic clinics.

Here, you will be offered independent and varied work with close patient contact as a nurse. You will also work as a contact nurse, with the opportunity to follow patients through their entire care process and serve as a key support for both patients and their relatives.

Responsibilities

As a nurse at the surgical clinic, you will have a varied role involving both planned and emergency operations. In the role of contact nurse, you play a central function in the patient's care process and provide crucial support to patients and their families.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Telephone advice via TeleQ
• Case management in 1177
• Assisting during doctor's visits and outpatient surgeries
• Other administrative tasks, such as booking appointments for planned clinics

You will work in close collaboration with doctors, nurses, and other professionals within the department, as well as with external healthcare providers and various levels of care. The role involves independent work with significant responsibility, while teamwork is a central part of the assignment. As a contact nurse, you coordinate care efforts, create continuity, and contribute to the patient's sense of security throughout the treatment process.

• Registered Nurse (RN)
