As a Care Manager, you will be an important part of our team and contribute to ensuring that our residents receive the care and security they deserve. We in the elderly care sector are in the midst of an exciting change process and are now looking for four Care Managers who want to help shape the future of care together with us. Two positions are located at Kaitumgården, the municipality's largest care home, centrally located in Jokkmokk. The other two positions are located at Bjärkagården in Vuollerim.

Job Responsibilities

As a Care Manager in Jokkmokk, you will play a central role in supporting and leading your colleagues in their daily work, while ensuring that we meet our goals for quality and care. The positions do not include personnel responsibility, work environment issues, or economy/budget responsibility.

The work consists mainly of standard tasks within care and support. It involves providing social support and guidance, being the "spider in the web," and managing multiple threads simultaneously. The Care Manager's main task is to ensure that daily care is carried out according to established guidelines and that colleagues on the ward receive support and guidance in their work.

The Care Manager is also responsible for contributing to the development and follow-up of work to ensure quality care for our residents. An important part of the role is also being confident in the ability to teach colleagues in a pedagogical manner.

You must be able to work independently and in collaboration with others in the work team. We use various digital tools, so you need to have knowledge/experience in how to use digital technology and be familiar with using a computer in daily work for documentation.

Since this role is new, there will be a clear job description for the position. Your direct manager is the unit manager at the care home.

Qualifications

Nursing assistant education or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. We are looking for you who are positive, loyal, engaged, solution-oriented, and responsible with good empathy. Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required, both spoken and written, as communication and documentation are important parts of the job.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, maturity, and teamwork skills.

Employment Terms

  • Type of employment: Permanent position.
  • Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement. Probation period may apply.
  • Salary: The salary range for this position is between 29,000 - 32,000 SEK/month full-time. We apply individual salary setting based on your experience and competence.
