Who we are looking for
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you are trained as a pediatric nurse or if you have previous experience in pediatric care or intensive care, as well as knowledge of other languages. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are structured and organize your work in an efficient way. You are stable and controlled in stressful situations and have an easy time adapting to rapidly changing circumstances.
What you will work with
On Ward 56, we care for premature babies from gestational week 28 and sick newborns up to 6 months of age. The tasks are varied and consist of daily care of the children, intensive care, and emergency handling. We work in a family-centered manner. Handling medical technical equipment daily is part of the job. As a nurse here, you work in a close team with nursing assistants, pediatricians, and counselors regarding the children and their families. As a nurse, you ensure the children's specific care needs and can prioritize the measures that are implemented.

We offer you a permanent position on a full-time or part-time basis, as agreed. Working hours: rotational shifts. Start date: August 31, 2026, or as agreed. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
